LML Awareness Workshop 4

Making Achievement More Achievable: Turning Our Unique Learning Processes into Testing Assets

Regardless of career path, each student across the nation is faced with successfully achieving on high stakes achievement tests. Study skills, test besting, and complaining have not made a difference in test score outcomes. Knowing our learning processes and how these affect our understanding of test items and written responses can make a dramatic difference. All participants will engage in identifying their unique learning combinations and will apply this knowledge to de-mystifying typical items found on standardized and statewide assessments.

Using tests as the focus of this workshop, teachers who know their students learning processes find effective approaches to go beyond teaching to the test to teaching students how to use their learning processes to do their best on tests.

This is an advanced workshop for teachers who have completed the Awareness One and Implementation level workshops in the Let Me Learn Process®.
