Unlocking the Will to Learn: Where You Can Begin to Make A Difference
If you have ever thought, “Where can I begin to make a difference with these students?” Unlocking the Will to Learn is for you. This presentation weaves the research and theory of brain science, multiple intelligences, and learning processes into a practical interactive model to use in your school or classroom. Unlocking the Will to Learn involves participants in using the Learning Connections Inventory (LCI) to identify their own as well as their students’ interactive learning processes.
Participants will learn how to:
- Understand their own learning process
- Confront key issues of learning which may have been overlooked
- Examine the at-risk profile through different lenses
- Stimulate students’ desire to learn
- Group students to maximize student performance
