Let Me Learn is committed to helping teachers listen to the voices of learners in classrooms around the world. Students from first grade to doctoral level have recognized the value of knowing their own learning connections and those of people with whom they share the learning experience.

Let Me Learn, Inc. was formed to facilitate the use of the Let Me Learn Process®, and Advanced Learning System. To that end, below are some of the many different services and products that are available.

Special Note: Let Me Learn facilitators/trainers require extensive coaching and experience to master the theoretical base and application of the Let Me Learn Process®. Only Let Me Learn credentialed facilitators are authorized to deliver services for fees as negotiated by Let Me Learn, Inc. Staff Development Program

Let Me Learn offers a complete package of staff development in the Let Me Learn Process®. This consists of awareness in-services, workshops, peer mentoring, on-line courses, and accelerated training. Let Me Learn offers a wide range of customizable workshops and informative publications for both newcomers and individuals with previous exposure to the Let Me Learn Process®. WORKSHOPS

Let Me Learn Awareness In-Service

The very popular LML Awareness In-Service is designed to introduce teachers and school administrators to the Let Me Learn Process®. A key component of the program is an overview of the Professional Form of the Learning Connections Inventory, which allows all participants to personally have a hands-on Let Me Learn experience. In addition, the all-day in-service introduces educators to the positive changes that can follow within the teacher-student partnership as this self-knowledge is applied to the learning environment.

Let Me Learn Awareness Workshops

Our two-hour workshops, which introduce participants to the Let Me Learn Process®, include the opportunity for individuals to determine their own approach to learning through the LCI.

Our four-hour workshop introduces educators to exercises and strategies so they can help students take responsibility for their learning by using their knowledge of their learning processes.

Support Services

Upon request, Let Me Learn can arrange on-site presentations and workshops as needed by an institution. This can include awareness programs for groups such as parents or staff not directly implementing the program. It can also involve a needs-based assessment for a school wishing to evaluate change in the overall learning environment or within a specific subject area.

COURSES

Let Me Learn Accelerated Professional Development Program

This unique professional and personal development program involves each participant in an intellectually rigorous experience aimed at preparing individuals to use the Let Me Learn ProcessÒ within their instructional and organizational setting (in K-12 institutions and those in higher education).

This program contains:

a one-hour on-line orientation session.
five 2-full day professional development sessions conducted over a six month period. Sessions involve direct instruction, small group discussions, interactive problem-solving groups, and focused learning teams.

The purpose of these sessions is twofold:

to equip each participant to understand the theory and the science behind the Let Me Learn Process® which result in a powerful personal understanding of one?s learning processes; and
apply the Let Me Learn Process® to any number of professional and personal life/work situations, specifically leadership, management, counseling, teaching, and coaching.

Site-based Let Me Learn Accelerated Professional Development Program

Let Me Learn is also able to come to your institution and deliver the same quality of professional development as that offered at its national headquarters. Contact us to discuss rates to institutions hosting an accelerated event.

In order to cater to your needs, we have several options:

One 5-day session at a specific worksite or campus with two 2-day follow-up sessions over a four month period
Three 2-day on-site sessions and ten 90-minute on-line sessions over a six month period.

ON-LINE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE LET ME LEARN PROCESS®

Teaching the Teacher/Teaching the Student: Bringing the Power of the Let Me Learn Process® to Your Institution

Let Me Learn?s on-line professional development program can now bring you faculty development delivered on-line either in small group meetings or to individual faculty members meeting as an on-line cohort. Each session includes both the theoretical and research background of the Let Me Learn Process® as well as specific ways to practically implement the process within the subject context of your course. The cohorts generally meet for three weekly sessions followed by five bi-weekly sessions to allow for implementation during the course.

Suggestions for effective team building, innovative assignments, and authentic assessments are included in these sessions.

If you are seeking to offer faculty development at a convenient time, in a convenient fashion, and in a cost-effective manner, then the LML on-line courses are for you.

Developing Each Student's Learning Potential: Incorporating the Let Me Learn Process® into Career and Academic Planning

An on-line course for college advisors, career and academic counselors, and student tutors is currently under development.
