“Two Thumbs Up” for LML Summer Institute

The 12th Annual Let Me Learn Summer Institute, entitled Let Me Learn: You Make the Difference was a great success. Over 60 faculty and administrators attended—over 20 of whom were new to the Let Me Learn Process®. For two days at the end of June, people from several states, including Florida, met and talked about how to use LML in assessment, differentiated instruction, Understanding by Design, and in higher education.

Below is just some of the positive feedback shared by Summer Institute participants:

“Not knowing anything about LML, it was very exciting and enlightening. I left with enthusiasm for administering the LCI in September.”

“For me, the best part of the summer institute was learning about LML, gaining better insight into myself as a learner and knowing how this info can positively affect my teaching practice.”

“Case studies were inspiring; new ideas on assessment and retention were valuable.”

“A friend of mine told me I was going to love this LMLP and I hoped she was right…she was! Thanks!”

“I liked small groups best. The sessions were not overly crowded. I felt I could get individual attention and answers to questions.”

“The assessment session was wonderful. I can take a lot of strategies with me to use in science classroom.”

Next year’s LML Summer Institute will be held on June 28 and 29, 2010. Please save these dates and check our website again in November for more information.
